Secure your crypto assets with the most trusted hardware wallet

About Ledger Hardware Wallets

Ledger hardware wallets are specialized devices designed to provide the highest level of security for your cryptocurrency assets. Unlike software wallets that are connected to the internet, Ledger devices store your private keys in a secure, offline environment.

With Ledger, you can securely manage and grow your crypto portfolio while maintaining complete control over your digital assets. Our devices support over 1,800 cryptocurrencies and tokens, making them the ideal solution for both beginners and experienced crypto enthusiasts.

🔒

Secure Element Chip

Ledger devices use a certified secure chip (CC EAL5+), similar to those used in passports and credit cards, to protect your private keys from sophisticated attacks.

📱

Ledger Live App

The Ledger Live application provides a user-friendly interface to manage your crypto assets, check balances, and make transactions securely.

🌐

Multi-Currency Support

Store, manage, and exchange Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, and more than 1,800 other cryptocurrencies and tokens all in one secure place.

Carefully unbox your Ledger device and connect it to your computer using the provided USB cable. Ensure you're using the original accessories that came with your device.

2

Initialize Your Device

Follow the on-screen instructions to initialize your device. You'll be prompted to set a PIN code that will be required every time you connect your Ledger device.

3

Write Down Your Recovery Phrase

Your device will generate a 24-word recovery phrase. Write it down on the provided recovery sheet and store it in a safe place. This phrase is the only way to recover your funds if your device is lost or damaged.

4

5

Add Crypto Accounts

Use Ledger Live to add accounts for the cryptocurrencies you wish to manage. Each account will have its own receiving address for deposits.

Security Features

Ledger devices incorporate multiple layers of security to protect your digital assets against various types of threats.

🛡️

Isolated Environment

Private keys never leave the secure element of your Ledger device, ensuring they're never exposed to connected computers or smartphones.

🔑

PIN Protection

Your device is protected by a PIN code that you set during initialization. After three incorrect attempts, the device wipes itself.

📝

Recovery Phrase

The 24-word recovery phrase allows you to restore access to your cryptocurrencies on any Ledger device or compatible wallet.

Transaction Verification

All transactions must be physically confirmed on your Ledger device by pressing both buttons, preventing unauthorized transfers.
